Alban lives in a remote and picturesque Swiss ski town with his mother, with whom he shares a tight bond. Every night, the teenager runs off to be with a new figure in his life - the mysterious Julien - a boy who, strangely, shares a first name with the hero of the novel he's avidly reading.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Simon Guélat was born in the Swiss Jura in 1985. He trained as an actor at the Haute Ecole de Théâtre de Suisse Romande. His first short film, 'Cabane', was selected at Locarno and Clermont-Ferrand film festivals. In 2016, he trained in documentary filmmaking at the Ateliers Varan and in this context directed the documentary short 'Chahine', selected at the Visions du Réel Festival in Nyon. As an actor, Simon has appeared in films directed by Ursula Meier, Lionel Baier, Francis Reusser, Matthieu Bertholet, Eric Vignerand and others. He also played Markus in the feature film '120 Beats per Minute' by Robin Campillo.
