DIRECTOR'S NOTE
These two boys meet in a large house, explore the place together, and through their shared moments gradually reveal themselves as they discover their feelings for one another. The project focuses on the discovery of the homosexual identity of the two characters and on the way they help each other learn self-acceptance. This theme unfolds within a poetic, gentle, and even sensual atmosphere. It takes shape through the choice of a mysterious setting: a house and the secrets it holds; through photography, placed at the heart of the story, and the question of identity intrinsically tied to this medium; and through the wounds of the soul and body, notably embodied by the appearance of an injured horse, symbolizing the connection between the fragility of bodies and the cruelty of the outside world.

Benoît Duvette is a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist. His universe explores themes of identity, desire, and personal transformation through the lens of the body and a sensitive approach. He creates poetic and introspective atmospheres, using symbols to express deep and complex emotions. His visual style immerses viewers in an intense and nuanced emotional experience, where beauty and pain coexist. His previous films include 'Ruins' and 'Body of Angels', adapted from the novel by Mathieu Riboulet.
