ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Jerry Carlsson graduated from Valand Academy in 2014, as a Director & Producer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Independent Filmmaking. He studied Screenwriting at Alma Manusutbildning, Art History at Stockholm University and Filmmaking at Dramatiska Institutet. In 2015 he founded the culture production company Verket Produktion. His short films have been screened in numerous international film festivals like Venice, Locarno, Tribeca and Clermont-Ferrand, where his short film "Skuggdjur" received both the Special Jury Prize and the Canal+ Award in 2018. In 2015 Jerry was selected for the European Film Promotions programme "FUTURE FRAMES: Ten filmmakers to follow" at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
