Born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1993, Lee Yung-Chieh is currently studying at the Graduate Institute of Animation and Film Art, Tainan National University of the Arts. His passion is to delve into the field of experimental animation, attempting to put the creator's own feelings and experiences into his creations, and to express subtle emotions through a combination of live action and animation. “Confusion of the Afternoon” has been selected at many international festivals and queer festivals, such as Huesca International Film Festival, Uppsala Short Film Festival, New York Asian Film Festival, Seattle Queer Film Festival and was nominated for a Taiwan Golden Harvest Award for Outstanding Short Film.
