DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
Cor Petit resembles its protagonists. Most noticeably this is the case for Gael, as underneath his appearance he hides more than what at first might be guessed. 'Cor Petit' is a short film that plays with elements of psychological drama, horror and fantasy. It is genre piece through a queer eye, that ends up being an intimate portrait of two strangers who, without knowing it, were linked from the beginning and destined to meet. I wanted to make this short film to grow as a director, to work again with the actors of my previous films who are already like my family and to be able to tell a story through a genre that was different from everything I had done before. And to create a new kind of story that we are not used to seeing with queer characters.
