A graduate from the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique, Thomas Blanchard was an actor in plays by Philippe Hadrien, Jacques Lassalle, Jacques Weber, Piotr Fomenko, Muriel Mayette, Marcel Bozonnet, Bruno Bayen, Christophe Rauck, Jean-Louis Benoit and Laurent Gutmann. He has worked on films with Noémie Lvovsky, Jerome Lévy, Bertrand Bonello, François Armanet, Alain Guiraudie, Yves Angelo, Emmanuel Bourdieu, François Magal, Mikhaël Hers, Daniel Sicard, Ulrich Kolher, Anne Le Ny, Solveig Anspach, Sébastien Betbeder, Emmanuel Mouret and Antoine Cuypers. 'Les Nouvelles Folies françaises' is his first film.
