ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Nina Bouchaud-Cheval began her career 10 years ago in advertising agencies, where she created films and 360 campaigns - some of which won awards for international brands. Eager to write and direct her own fiction, she started to write several short films. Her first script 'Enlightened' won the CNC “Talents en court” in 2018, and was presented at film festivals, supported by prestigious French directors and scriptwriters. Her social and queer stories aim to bring visibility to minoritary communities. Enlightened is her first film as a director. Her second short film is in development, and she is writing the feature adaptation of 'Enlightened'.
