It is the 1920s in the French countryside at the height of summer. Lisa, 17, flees the dull world of her bourgeois family to the beauty and tranquility of the shimmering lake at the bottom of the garden. Going for a swim, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Born in 1971 near Grenoble, Nicolas studied literature and cinema in Lyon, Nantes and Paris. He has been film editor on a dozen feature films and thirty short films including 'Les Bigorneaux 'by Alice Vial, which won the César 2018 for Best Short Film. He has also edited many documentaries for the channels Arte and Canal+ as well as popular TV fiction series for TF1, France TV and M6.
