Ralph Somma is a filmmaker born in Rio de Janeiro. Having directed music videos and institutional campaigns for over two decades, he made his debut as a director with 'His Voice', a short film that explores the conflicts of being both homosexual and evangelical. Raised in a religious environment himself, Somma’s projects reflect the need for social change and equality, especially as Brazil experiences setbacks with the increasing influence of religious leaders in politics.
