Artemis is a versatile director from Greece, working across genres both on comedies and dramas. 'I am Mackenzie' had its World Premiere at SXSW Film Festival and received the Jury Award in the Texas Shorts category, and was included in the Texas Filmmaker’s Showcase. It also received the Tonia Marketaki Award for Best Female Filmmaker in Drama ISFF and the Orpheus Award for Best Short Film in L.A Greek Film Festival. Before transitioning to film directing, Artemis was a professional editor for film and TV in Greece. She has edited many short films, documentaries and TV shows commissioned by the Greek Film Centre, ZDF, ARTE, Onassis Cultural Center, Mega Channel and Vice Greece, among others.
