In a small town in northern Poland, Majka, 18, is experiencing feelings that are out of the ordinary. She is convinced that she is possessed, so decides to meet Father Marek, an exorcist priest.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Born in France to Polish parents, Julia’s films question her relationship with her country of origin, constantly refining her favourite themes: adolescence, family, sexuality and the working class. 'I Saw the Face of the Devil' tells the story of a young Polish woman in the grip of a crisis of faith. This film is the result of research carried out for her second feature film which is currently in post-production - the mystical emancipation of a young woman struggling with her monstrous desire.
