ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Ron Jäger is a twenty-three year old film school graduate. He studied Television and Film at the DEKRA Hochschule für Medien in Berlin. I n his films he deals with, among other things, the generational divide as well as the growth of adolescent protagonists. "Islands" was his last student film at the DEKRA Hochschule für Medien in Berlin. “Islands” is the third part of his five-part short film-series about fathers and sons.
