Coralie Watanabe Prosper is an author, actress, and director. Her short films 'Adieu et à bientôt' and 'Mathi(eu)' were screened internationally. After working for several years as a casting assistant (Olivier Dahan's 'Grace of Monaco' and the Canal+ series 'Engrenages'), she and her wife and creative partner, Rei Watanabe, founded their own company, Sakura no Ki no Shita, where she has created numerous plays. She is currently developing her debut feature film. Her work, deeply social and political, focuses on deconstructing dominant norms and bringing to light narratives told by marginalized voices.
