Seventeen-year-old Jeanne and her little sister Camille decide to run away from home to see the ocean one last time before the new school year starts. On the beach, Jeanne meets a young surfer, with whom she becomes instantly besotted.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Born in 1979, Héléna Klotz started her career in the theatre as an assistant director. She then worked in casting on features by Nicolas Klotz, Laurent Achard, Katell Quillévéré and Eva Ionesco. Her first short, 'A Leopard Never Loses its Spots', was selected at the Locarno Film Festival. This was followed by 'The Atomic Age' starring Niels Schneider at Berlin Film Festival. Her latest feature film is 'Spirit of Ecstasy', again with Niels Schneider and also Jeanne Francoeur which premiered at Toronto Interantional Film Festival.
