DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
"With 'Noora', I wanted look at how a religion and a culture can set the rules and laws that affect how a person can choose with whom they have a relationship with, and their life choices generally. Noora is a girl who has a strong faith in her religion. What then happens to her faith when she develops feelings for another girl challenges this. Only classical church music was used in the film so as to enhance the omnipresent theme of religion." - Tommy Næss
