ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
|
Sébastien Lifshitz is a French screenwriter and director. He gained praise and recognition for his early films 'Wild Side', a multi-narrative depiction about the life of a transgender prostitute, and 'Presque Rien', which depicts a stormy holiday romance between two teenage boys. He is a two-time winner of the Berlin Film Festival's Teddy Award. Recent films include 'Bambi', a documentary profile of transgender French entertainer Marie-Pierre Pruvot, and 'Little Girl', a documentary about transgender seven-year-old Sasha, who was assigned male at birth.
