On a quest to understand her grandmother's past, Claudia meets Marlene, an old and reclusive woman who's created an homage to her memories inside an empty swimming pool. Leaving her newborn child with her wife, she hesitantly enters Marlene's underground bunker. When she eventually resurfaces, both old and young see their past and future in a whole new light.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Leandro Goddinho is a Brazilian filmmaker based in Berlin. After studying Cinema and Theatre in Brazil he has directed 5 short films, 2 medium-length films and 2 videoclips, winning more than 50 awards at film festivals in Brazil and abroad. He has worked in the audio-visual industry as a director, screenwriter and picture editor. On TV, he worked as image editor and assistant director on sitcoms for the Multishow channel in Brazil. He also directed 3 theatre plays and was an assistant to renowned directors in São Paulo. In 2015 he was selected to the German Chancellor Fellowship for prospective leaders sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
