ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Born in Gravelines in the north of France, Benoît Duvette is a Contemporary Arts graduate from the University of Lille 3.
Benoît is a multidisciplinary artist and director of creations where the concept of the image is central. His creations are at once soundscapes, films and scenic objects. They approach themes concerned with the body, identity, space and reality, all while conveying a dream-like atmosphere. In the characters of his work, the bodies are scarred, trying to shed themselves from their exoskeletons or trying to expel their feelings of death. |
