DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
"I was coming out around the time I wrote “Same Difference” 20 years ago. People often confused me with my older brother so it felt like a nice device to ‘out' a guy to his twin through mistaken identity. Restricted to £1000 and 5 rolls of 16mm (around 50 minutes), I was determined to pack a lot in to a short run time so storyboarded the entire script. Despite the stresses, it was a hilarious shoot thanks largely to Alex, James, the crew and Keniro (as Jonathon Natynczyk, 'Queer As Folk')."
Harry Richards made a number of short films at school, college and since including 'Bloody Shard Gate' (1997), 'Crisis' (2003) & 'Still Life' (2005). He now works as a photographer in London. |
