ABOUT THE DIRECTORS
Roberto Fernandez Canuto is a Spanish film director and screenwriter and is one of the first European directors to establish stable collaborations within the Chinese film industry. Xu Xiaoxi (徐小溪) is a Chinese film director and screenwriter who belongs to a new generation of filmmakers from China that were educated in the West. Together they opened a film production company in China, Almost Red Productions.
Films they have co-written and co-directed include 'Sunken Plum' (2017), 'Advent' (2016), 'Floating Melon' (2015), 'Ni Jing: Thou Shalt Not Steal' (2013), 'Desire Street (2011)' and 'Toto Forever' (2010). |
