ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Roman's beginnings were in the theatre in 2010 with the play 'Diplomatie' (dir. Stephan Meldegg) in which he played alongside Niels Arestrup and André Dussolier. He completed a degree in Philosophy at the Sorbonne, followed by a theatrical and musical training (singing, piano) within Parisian conservatories (XIX, VII & V) and the École du Jeu, while taking dance lessons at the Ménagerie de Verre. He has performed under the direction of, among others, Joris Lacoste, Tanya Lopert, Yves-Noel Genod, Sophie Bricaire and Camille Dagen. He has also acted in the films 'Godard Mon Amour' by Michel Hazanavicius, 'Reinventing Marvin' by Anne Fontaine and 'Waiting for the Barbarians' by Eugène Green. 'Sunset Cemetery' is his directorial debut.
