Born in 1991 in Eckernförde/Northern Germany, Friedrich Tiedtke started making films when he was a child and has directed numerous award winning short films. In 2011 he finished school, lived for three years in Berlin and was enrolled at Zentropa Productions in Copenhagen. His short films include 'Man on Blue' (2018), 'Being at Home' (2014), 'Disfavour' (2013), 'Remembering the Summer' (2012), 'Once Upon a Time in Winter' (2011) and 'On the Countryside' (2009).
