On the last day of school Edgaras is approached by old friend Viktoras, who proposes that the pair make a quick buck by smuggling cigarettes from Belarus across the border. Edgaras has a bright future ahead of him, but the temptation to transgress is one he cannot ignore.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Gabrielė Urbonaitė is a writer, director and editor currently based in Lithuania and the U.S. Gabrielė is a recipient of National Lithuanian Film Award Silver Crane for "The Swimmer", Princess Grace Film Award for "Back", and NY Women's Fund Award for "Solastalgia". She is an alumna of Berlinale Talents, Odense Talent Camp, and EKRAN+ training program. Gabrielė earned her BFA in Film from Emerson College and her MFA in Screenwriting / Directing from Columbia University. Her films, both narrative and documentary, explore the feeling of being in between.
