ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
|
Jérémy Giroux was born in 1985 on Réunion Island. He studied film editing in France before earning a Master’s degree in Cinema from La Sorbonne, followed by a Master’s degree in Directing from the École Supérieure des Arts Visuels in Marrakech, where his professors included Nabil Ayouch, Pascale Ferran, and Nader Takmil Homayoun. In 2007, he directed his first short film, "The Weight of Air", which explored themes of childhood trauma, and the feeling of being an outsider.
