ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Michèle Flury was born in Basel in 1990. After completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology, she graduated in directing in 2018 and has been working as a director and writer ever since. With her short film 'Heartbeat' Michèle won the Best Swiss Newcomer Award at Locarno Film Festival in 2022. Her short film 'Waking Up in Vegas' premiered at Cinekid Festival and was selected by Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur in 2023. Currently, Michèle is writing her debut feature 'Pas ta maman', which won the Alphapanda Market Breakout Award at Locarno Film Festival 2023.
